A tour of your 8Deploy control panel

Last updated 14 July 2026

What each section of app.8deploy.com does, so you know where to go for sites, domains, email, backups and billing.

Your control panel is at app.8deploy.com. Here is what lives where.

Dashboard

Your starting point. It shows your sites, how much of your plan's storage you are using, how much memory and CPU your account is drawing, and anything that needs attention, such as a domain that is not yet pointing at us or a payment that failed.

Sites

Every website you host appears here. Open a site and you can see whether it is up, view its domain and certificate, clear its cache, open its staging copy (on Pro and above), and reach its files and database.

Apps

On Pro and above, this is where Node.js, Python, Docker and static apps live. You connect a git repository, we build and run your app, and each push deploys it.

Domains

Add domains and subdomains, see whether they are pointing at us correctly, and manage DNS records if you have delegated DNS to us.

Email

Create mailboxes on your domain, set passwords, add forwarding rules and auto-replies, and open webmail. Email authentication (DKIM, SPF and DMARC) is set up here too.

Databases

Create databases and database users, and see which site uses which database.

Backups

Automatic backups are listed here, newest first. You can restore one, or download a full copy of your account to your own computer at any time.

Team

Invite colleagues or contractors and decide what each of them can see and do.

Billing

Your plan, your card, your invoices, your add-ons, and the button to change plan or cancel.

The AI assistant

There is an assistant built into the panel, and it can see your actual account: your plan, your sites, your usage, your DNS state. So you can ask it real questions like "why is my domain not resolving" or "which of my sites is using the most storage" and get an answer about your account, not a generic help article. It cannot see your mailbox contents or your passwords.

Getting help from a human

Every page has a link to contact us, or you can email [email protected] directly. See Getting help and how fast we respond for our response times.

Still stuck?

The assistant in your control panel can see your actual account and answer about your sites, your plan and your usage. For anything else, email [email protected] and a person will answer.
